Firesky Resort Scottsdale Wedding
We just got back from a long relaxing wedding weekend with the most amazing group of people. We knew all along that Christine and Jason were planning an amazing day, and it was only amplified by their awesome friends and loving family. Everyone was so delightfully relaxed and we all enjoyed watching the day unfold. Christine was absolutely radiant, Jason dapper and super fun.
Can I say how much I enjoyed the bridal party? Everyone is so talented and hilarious, the toasts were the best I've ever heard - especially when Silja the Finnish doll broke into here mother's thick Finnish accent and had everyone rolling in the aisles. The party continued into the early morning, with milk and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for snacks. You only get to be bride and groom once, and I don't blame them for not wanting it to end.
Now on to Jamaica, man!
The best part was walking back to my room, changing into my bathing suit and plunging into the hot tub. There is no better therapy for a tired wedding photographer body. Firesky Resort in Scottsdale is a delightful place to have a wedding, and they took very good care of everyone. Everywhere you looked there was a gorgeous, picturesque setting.

What an awesome couple these two are! Both their personalities are so
amazing, and they are really connected to each other. The story of how
they met is such a sweet one, and it is wonderful to hear how two
people's lives cross paths in such a memorable way. Andrea is a ICU
Nurse and full of compassion, and she cared for Scott's Grandmother
while she was in the hospital, and the rest is history! We had fun wandering around Scottsdale on Andrea's Birthday (fun Birthday present - to be a model for the afternoon) and captured some beautiful moments between the two of them. Here are a few of our favorites!

Finishing up some Custom Engagement Album designs, thought I'd share! Some of our designs come with space for guests to sign at the reception, others are just packed with the favorites. Thick, yummy pages (on hinges, so they lay flat) and a custom hard cover is how we roll. We love to produce books that are like no other, just like our fantastic clients.
This is the highlight reel from C+J's Engagement Session in Sedona at Tlaquepaque. What an diverse and fun place to photograph! Next time we are taking all their dogs! *MUAH* you two, the wedding is almost here!
